Primary Writing Paper with Picture Box
Create primary writing paper with a picture area above the guide rows. It is a useful layout for an illustrated sentence, a short story or a drawing prompted writing activity.
Understanding the layout
The starting picture box is 55 mm high and the writing band is 18 mm. The drawing area and writing rows share the same usable page height. Increasing one reduces room for the other, so the generator reports combinations that cannot fit rather than cutting away the final row. Blank guides let a teacher supply a matching model by hand.
Using the sheet
Start with the preset when its dimensions match the task, then change only the settings you actually need. The parent generator linked below explains the wider choice of layouts. Keeping a note of your final settings makes it easier to create another matching sheet later.
Choosing the settings
Select the paper that is physically loaded in your printer. Download the PDF for a dimensioned print and choose Actual size or 100%, rather than Fit. The on screen preview is reduced to fit the browser and is not an actual size measurement. SVG keeps editable vector outlines; PNG is useful when an image file is required.
A practical example
Open the preset and keep six rows. Download the PDF, draw a small scene in the upper box and write a sentence below it. Confirm that the illustration area is separate from the writing bands.

Can I change this preset before downloading?
Yes. It is a starting configuration, not a locked image. Inspect the updated preview and any fit warning before exporting.
