1 cm Graph Paper
Print graph paper with 1 cm squares for counting, early plotting and scale sketches that need generous cells. The preset opens with 10 mm spacing because one centimetre equals ten millimetres.
Understanding the layout
A larger cell is easier to mark when a learner is using broad pencil strokes or writing values inside the squares. Count the intervals between lines, not the lines themselves. A run of ten complete cells spans 100 mm in the file. The major lines emphasize groups of cells; they do not change the fine spacing.
Using the sheet
Start with the preset when its dimensions match the task, then change only the settings you actually need. The parent generator linked below explains the wider choice of layouts. Keeping a note of your final settings makes it easier to create another matching sheet later.
Choosing the settings
Select the paper that is physically loaded in your printer. Download the PDF for a dimensioned print and choose Actual size or 100%, rather than Fit. The on screen preview is reduced to fit the browser and is not an actual size measurement. SVG keeps editable vector outlines; PNG is useful when an image file is required.
A practical example
Open the preset, choose A4 and keep 10 mm spacing. Download the SVG and check a ten cell run against 100 mm. Print a sample before assigning a physical scale to a room or object sketch.

Can I change this preset before downloading?
Yes. It is a starting configuration, not a locked image. Inspect the updated preview and any fit warning before exporting.
