Understanding the layout

The guide variants emphasize different parts of a square. Tian Zi Ge divides it through the center, Mi Zi Ge adds diagonal guides, and Hui Gong Ge supplies an inner reference box as well as the central guides. They help a learner consider balance and placement, but they do not prescribe the sequence of strokes. The displayed model uses printed character outlines rather than animated handwriting.

Using the sheet

Choose a small set of characters and place one model above each practice column. Compare the position of the main components within the square rather than tracing only the outside shape. Write a few careful repetitions, then review them with the learning material or teacher. Empty model text produces an entirely blank guide sheet when you prefer to supply examples by hand.

Choosing the settings

Type selects the guide variant. Character cell size changes the space available for each character. Cell columns and Cell rows determine the grid dimensions. Model characters are placed across the first row, with no more models than the number of columns. Increasing cell size or counts may require a larger sheet; the tool will not silently reduce the requested geometry.

A practical example

Choose Mi Zi Ge and enter 春雨 as Model characters. Keep the default 12 mm cells and select A4. Download the SVG. Two printed models should appear in the first row, while the other cells retain their center and diagonal guides for practice.

Before you print

These are model glyphs, not a stroke order lesson or a handwriting assessment. Available character coverage is checked during preparation, and unsupported characters must be corrected before export. The tool does not translate text.
