Understanding the layout

Diameter is the full width through the center of a circle. Radius is half that value. This tool asks for diameter so a 40 mm entry produces a circle 40 mm across, not an 80 mm circle. The outlines retain that size even when the paper changes. If the selected count does not fit, the tool reports the problem rather than shrinking the circles or dropping some of them silently.

Using the sheet

Choose the circle size from the project requirement, then select paper that leaves room for all requested copies. Download a vector file when the outline will be imported into another drawing program. For hand tracing, use a clearly visible print and measure the diameter after printing. Add any cutting allowance outside the template rather than assuming that the outline includes one.

Choosing the settings

Circle diameter (mm) controls the physical width of each circle. Number of circles controls the requested count. Paper size and orientation determine whether that combination fits. The preview shows the arrangement, but its apparent screen size is not a physical measurement because displays have different pixel densities and zoom settings.

A practical example

Enter a 40 mm circle diameter and request four circles on A4. Download the SVG. There should be four circle outlines with a 20 mm radius. Print the PDF at 100% and measure one diameter before using the page as a tracing or cutting reference.

Before you print

The tool supplies outlines, not labels with editable text or a cutting machine project. Printer scaling and cutting technique affect a physical result. The requested dimensions do not include a seam or bleed allowance.
