Measurement templates
Create rulers, angles, shapes and size references with dimensioned geometry. Physical measurements are useful only when the downloaded file is printed at the intended scale.
Choosing a layout
Use the calibration sheet first and compare its reference marks with a trusted ruler. A full 12 inch or 30 cm ruler requires larger paper. Never use Fit to force a measurement template onto a page that is too small.
- Printable RulerGenerate a printable ruler in centimetres or inches at the length you need. The file preserves its intended geometry, but a physical print must be checked before it is used to measure anything important.
- Printable ProtractorPrint a 180 degree or 360 degree protractor for classroom angle work and drawing practice. Adjust the size and use the center and baseline carefully when transferring an angle to paper.
- Circle TemplateCreate a sheet of circles with the exact diameter and count you request. Use the outlines for drawing practice, labels, craft planning or tracing when a fixed downloadable template is the wrong size.
- Ellipse & Radius TemplatePrint either an ellipse with independent width and height or a set of radius reference arcs. Choose the template type first because ellipse diameters and a circular radius are different measurements.
- Scale RulerGenerate a scale ruler with labels for the represented distance at a selected ratio. It helps read or sketch a scaled drawing while keeping the printed ruler length distinct from the real distance its labels describe.
- Geometric Shape TemplatePrint a clean square, circle, equilateral triangle or regular hexagon at a chosen dimension. Use it for geometry demonstrations and tracing while checking exactly what the dimension control means for the selected shape.
- Photo Size TemplateCreate a physical photo size outline for print planning, mounting or trimming. Choose a common frame size and verify it on paper without uploading or processing an actual photograph.
- Aspect Ratio Frame TemplateGenerate a blank frame in a common image or video ratio at a chosen printed width. It is useful for planning composition, thumbnails and page illustrations without confusing proportions with fixed paper sizes.
- Paper Size LabCompare two paper formats using a shared scale, physical dimensions and a pixel reference at a chosen DPI. The overlay makes differences between formats such as A4 and Letter easier to see than a list of numbers alone.
